Semi-automatic roughing machine for leather soles or other similar materials.
sole-roughing-machThe routhing is carried out by a rotating abrasive band mounted on two rubber rollers which absorb any imperfections on the piece to be roughed.
The abrasive band can be easily changed so that the right coarseness can be chosen according to the material used.
The piece to be roughed is manaully inserted, on contrary the roughing and ejection are carried out automatically.
The machine is equipped with an electronic speed variator and a rotating brush which removes any residue of material.
Until 1978, shoe and leather goods components were cut manually; needing highly skilled workers, producing small quantities due to manual production.
